Some of my interests (in no particular
order)
Breakdancing
I have been facinated with breakdancing since i was very young,
I remember seeing it on tv and in movies before i was 10 years old.
When I was about 13 I started trying to break, but being fairly
isolated in small town iowa, there was no one around to help me
out. I continued to teach myself to break until I was 16 and living
in east centrel Phoenix, AZ. My neigborhood in phoenix was the perfect
place to continue my breaking activities, I met many friends who
were breakers, and ended up breaking with HTO - Hard-to-Oppose and
CRK - Crucial Rockers. When I moved back to Iowa, I started a youth
hangout spo (thebeatbox)t in a basement of a building on the town
square. The Beatbox started with breakdancing sessions 3 times a
week, and a saturday night jam once a week. Over the next 4 years,
The Beatbox turned into a massive community project, providing comprehensive
youth and technolgoy resources to the whole community. Check out
the following for more info on my breaking and Beatbox activities.

Unix OS (specifically FreeBSD)
FreeBSD is an advanced operating system for x86 compatible, AMD64,
Alpha, IA-64, PC-98 and UltraSPARC® architectures. It is derived
from BSD, the version of UNIX® developed at the University of
California, Berkeley. It is developed and maintained by a large
team of individuals.
I install FreeBSD on most server systems that I work on. I also
use it as a desktop OS for my laptop.
