Position:	Adjuster / Operations Manager
Working with Walker Group, Inc. as an Insurance Adjuster, I spent 2 months last fall (2004) working 12 hour days in Orlando and Pensacola, FL helping people get their lives back together after the 4 hurricanes raged through. I inspected and estimated over 70 damaged properties. Currently, I am working on setting up accounting systems, a new website and training new adjusters in Xactimate, an adjusting software.

Founded The Beatbox, youth center in August 1999. Responsible for overall business development over 4 years of operations. Raised over $500,000 in funding from spring 2000 to spring 2003. Developed and taught educational programs in Web Design, Video Production, and Business Development Applied for and received a $300,000 federal education dept. grant, in Fall 2001, to create BTECH (The Beatbox technology program, now FTEC). Built and developed advisory board that included the city mayor, chief of police, juvenile court officer, community parents, state representatives, and local business owners. Juvenile crime in Fairfield dropped 50% in the years the Beatbox was open.
